Jonathan Kuminga Getting Praise For Recent Play
1 year agoAccording to C.J. Holmes of The San Francisco Chronicle, the Golden State Warriors are pleased with the play of forward Jonathan Kuminga during the preseason thus far. "He's just more at peace with himself, embracing the coaching more," said head coach Steve Kerr. "He's just doing a great job of staying poised through his mistakes, and he's really been aggressive." The 2021 No. 7 overall pick was expected to take a giant leap forward last year. However, that didn't happen. But Kuminga combined for 50 points in two exhibitions in the last few weeks, so there's a good chance he'll get routine minutes throughout the 2023-24 campaign, especially if he becomes a consistent shooter.
