Duncan Robinson Scores 14 Points In Preseason Play
1 year agoMiami Heat forward Duncan Robinson finished with 14 points in Friday's preseason loss to San Antonio. He went 4-for-9 from the field and 3-for-8 from deep, adding five assists and a steal. Robinson signed a five-year, $90 million extension in August 2021 to remain in Miami. However, the 29-year-old averaged only 6.4 points and shot 32.8% from behind the arc in 42 games last season, although he had flashes of productivity during the postseason. Nonetheless, with Gabe Vincent and Max Strus no longer on the roster, Robinson could work his way back into the rotation. But unless he proves he will get consistent minutes for the Heat in 2023-24, he won't do much for fantasy managers. That said, Robinson is still worth monitoring as the season progresses.
