1 year agoSan Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama finished with a team-high 23 points in Friday's preseason victory over the Miami Heat. The 2023 No. 1 overall pick was efficient from the field, going 10-for-15, while adding four rebounds and three blocks. Wembanyama has scored at least 20 points in his first two exhibitions, so fantasy managers are likely ecstatic with what they've seen out of the him. Unfortunately, he's totaled eight turnovers during preseason play, which could be a problem for category participants. Wembanyama could also be limited at times throughout the 2023-24 campaign, especially since the organization will understandably play it safe with its superstar in an effort to keep him as healthy as possible. But the big man is still expected to make an immediate impact in all fantasy setups this season, considering he's a favorite to win Rookie of the Year.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
