Zack Moss In A Tougher Spot In Week 6
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss had an incredibly effective Week 5 outing, in which he ran the ball 23 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns in a win against the Tennessee Titans. This came as a surprise, as Colts starting running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) made his season debut and carried the ball only six times. Head coach Shane Steichen confirmed that Taylor will be ramped up more in Week 6, which leaves Moss in a more difficult spot to provide fantasy value. Moss has been excellent this season, averaging five yards a carry and scoring four touchdowns in four games. While he won't disappear from this backfield in Taylor's return, fantasy managers should be cautious in his potential loss of volume and a matchup against a Jacksonville Jaguars defense allowing the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs. Moss can be started as an RB3/flex option.
