1 year agoDetroit Lions running back David Montgomery has rushed 88 times for 371 yards and six touchdowns in just four games. He's averaging 4.2 yards per carry after a big Week 5 performance, and he's been one of the breakout stars of the fantasy football season early on. Montgomery is a true workhorse back in a league where that is becoming rare, so behind an elite offense line, he is a must-start option in all matchups. Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) could miss the Week 6 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, meaning Montgomery could see even more touches for a second straight week.
