1 year agoCharlotte Hornets center Kai Jones has been waived by the organization on Wednesday. This doesn't come as a surprise given recent events. Before training camp, it was announced that Jones was going to be away from the team for personal reasons. The Hornets decided to separate themselves from Jones after he called out his teammates on social media and missed workouts. After that, he requested a trade from the organization on social media. Two days later, the Hornets waived Jones, which seems fair given the circumstances. It remains to be seen if another organization will take a risk on the former first round pick.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
