Deshaun Watson Injury Update For Fantasy Football
As per the recent reports, Deshaun Watson is considered day-to-day and is questionable for the game against the 49ers. Given how close he came to playing against the Ravens two weeks ago, many feel like the quarterback will be ready for the upcoming game.
However, the shift of the spread towards the 49ers on the majority of sportsbooks has hinted that the Browns could very well be without their franchise quarterback.
Last week, rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson started the game, but after impressing in the preseason, he didn't look ready to play in the NFL. The Browns are off to a 2-2 start to the season, and the game against the 49ers could go very ugly for them if Watson doesn't play.
Deshaun Watson Fantasy Outlook
In the three games that he has played so far this season, Deshaun Watson has thrown for 678 yards, four touchdowns, two interceptions, and a passer rating of 87.8. He is averaging 226 passing yards per game with a 63.7% completion percentage.
In Week 3's game against the Tennessee Titans, Watson arguably had the best game of his Browns career. He completed 27/33 throws for 289 yards and two touchdowns with a QBR of 123.4. Over the first five weeks of this season, Watson has accumulated 55.4 points in full PPR scoring leagues and is averaging 18.5 points every week.
Hopefully, he'll get healthy soon, as the Browns' defense is very good, and with Watson as their quarterback, the franchise could make some noise in a stacked AFC.
