Jahmyr Gibbs Now Doubtful For Week 5
1 year agoAccording to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) is doubtful to play in Sunday's meeting with the Panthers. The rookie is dealing with a hamstring issue, although he didn't show up on the injury report until Friday. The Lions are banged up entering Week 5, as Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) is unlikely to suit up. At the same time, Josh Reynolds (groin) carries a questionable designation. That said, David Montgomery, who had three rushing touchdowns versus the Packers in Week 4, should remain heavily involved against a Panthers defense that's struggled in 2022-23. In addition, Craig Reynolds could log more touches than usual, giving him a small upside for desperate fantasy managers.
