1 year agoDetroit Pistons guard/forward Ausar Thompson appears to have already impressed the team. The Pistons used the No. 5 selection in this year's draft to select Thompson, so they have high expectations for him. There's a chance that Thompson is a Day 1 starter in the Pistons rotation. His defense is impressive and the Pistons could use his above average defense to their advantage. However, his move into the rotation would push either Bojan Bogdanovic or Jaden Ivey out of the starting five. There's still plenty of time before the season begins, but Thompson is worth keeping an eye on early in the year.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
