Kristaps Porzingis "Ready To Go" For Training Camp
1 year agoBoston Celtics forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (foot) reported he "feels great" and is "ready to go" for training camp without restrictions. The 28-year-old suffered a bout of plantar fasciitis during the FIBA World Cup, so there were concerns regarding his availability for the start of camp. Fortunately, it appears he's good to go and should be on the floor for the C's to open the season against the New York Knicks. The oft-injured Porzingis is coming off his best season in years, finishing 2022-23 by averaging 23.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks while shooting 38.5% from deep in 66 games in Washington. As long as he remains healthy, he should continue to be a productive fantasy option, although his points total will take a hit now that he's paired with Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Jrue Holiday.
