PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Brandon Pfaadt MORE than 4.0 strikeoutsa

We are going to start with the favorite play on the PrizePicks Optimizer as it has been given a 55.36% of hitting. Pfaadt has struck out four or more batters in a whopping 11 straight starts. He will be facing a Brewers lineup, that is posting a 21.1% K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks, which is not all that high, but should still be high enough for Pfaadt in this one.

Tyler Glasnow LESS than 7.5 strikeouts

This is a high number for a postseason game, even when you consider it is Tyler Glasnow. The matchup against the Rangers is going to be a tough one as well. Over the previous three weeks, Texas has posted a solid wRC+ mark of 118. They have also been getting on the bases via the walk as noted by their 11.9% walk rate, which ranks second-best in baseball over that same three-week span. For what it is worth, Glasnow faced these Rangers at home back on June 9 and managed to strike out six batters in six innings of work.

Jesus Luzardo MORE than 5.5 strikeouts

Jesus Luzardo will be up against the Phillies tonight, who are posting a 30% K rate vs. left-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks second-worst in baseball over that span. He has managed to mow down at least six batters in four of his previous six starts. He has faced the Phillies twice this season, striking out 14 across 12 1/3 innings pitched as well.

Other Recommendations: Tyler Glasnow MORE than 1.5 walks, Tyler Glasnow + Kevin Gausman LESS than 14.0 combined strikeouts
