Skylar Mays Signs Two-Way Deal With Portland
1 year agoAccording to ESPN senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Blazers agreed to a two-way deal with free-agent guard Skylar Mays. The terms of the contract were not made public. The 26-year-old, drafted in the second round of the 2020 NBA Draft, hasn't been a routine contributor throughout his career. However, he displayed flashes of promise in six games in Portland last season, averaging 15.4 points and 8.3 assists while shooting 46.2% from behind the arc. Nonetheless, Mays has a way to go before gaining a spot in most fantasy lineups. But he's worth stashing for those in dynasty formats, considering he could earn a stable role for a rebuilding team.
