I have three pitcher prop bets, and my favorite bet of the night with an over in total bases.

MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks

Tarik Skubal OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-128 FanDuel Sportsbook)

Skubal has been my favorite strikeout prop over the last month. He has been in elite form and has pitched like an ace. His most significant thing is being able to stay healthy. Over his last seven starts, Skubal has gotten to the seven or more strikeout mark in every single one. During that span, he has a 2.67 SIERA, 34.9% K%, and 16.4% SwStr%. His opponent, the Kansas City Royals, over the last 30 days, has struggled against left-hand pitching. They own a 24.9% K% against the split during that span. I am returning to the well with my cash cow in Tarik Skubal for his last start of the season.

Darius Vines OVER 3.5 strikeouts (+112 FanDuel SportsBook)

Darius Vines will be making a spot start tonight after pitching out of the bullpen after Charlie Morton got hurt last Friday in his start. Vines went 61 pitches and 3.1 innings pitched in that relief appearance. In his only start of the season, he went six innings and struck out five. I am banking on him going at least five tonight after the bullpen was used heavily last night for the Braves. Vines only has a 15.0% K% on the season but has an 11.0% SwStr%. That tells me more strikeouts are in the tank, and I'm willing to take a shot on four at plus money tonight.

Jose Berrios OVER 6.5 strikeouts (+110 DraftKings SportsBook)

Berrios has been in solid form over his last four starts. He owns a 3.18 SIERA, 28.3% K%, and an 11.0% SwStr% in his four September starts. He has gotten seven or more strikeouts in three of four starts. His opponent, the New York Yankees, is third in baseball against right-hand pitching, with a 26.8% K% over the last 30 days. At +110 on DraftKings, I will take a shot on Berrios in a favorable matchup.

Yordan Alvarez OVER 1.5 Total Bases (+100 DraftKings SportsBook)

We get to my final bet of the night, but this is my favorite bet of the night. Lefties have hammered Bryce Miller, and I have been pounding mini stacks against him in DFS at no ownership over his last few starts. In the previous 30 days, Miller has allowed a .558 wOBA, .356 ISO, and a 43.6% hard hit. Alvarez has been on a tear against right-hand pitching. Over the last 30 days, Alvarez has a 275 wRC+, .568 wOBA, and a .906 SLG against the split. I am hammering this prop at +100.
