Amari Cooper Not Practicing Wednesday
1 year agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (groin, shoulder) was held out of practice on Wednesday. Cooper was listed as questionable for the Monday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he suited up and led the team with seven receptions (10 targets) for 90 yards in the loss. He apparently picked up a shoulder injury in the Week 2 game, too, but his absence from the first practice of the week is most likely for rest purposes more than anything. The 29-year-old should be able to play in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans and should continue to be quarterback Deshaun Watson's go-to target in the passing game as the Browns look to get back on track.
