Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns suffered a disappointing 26-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2. While the Browns' defense played extremely well, their quarterback committed multiple turnovers and penalties that resulted in their loss.
Watson was penalized twice for grabbing the face masks of the opposition defenders. Moreover, in frustration, he mistakenly made contact with one of the officials as well.
As per the NFL rules, in such instances, a player could get suspended by the league. Will the league suspend the Browns quarterback? Let's take a look at the latest update.

Will Deshaun Watson Get Suspended?
As per the latest updates, the NFL will not be taking any disciplinary action against Deshaun Watson. The officials on the field didn't raise any issues regarding the Browns' quarterback, and due to that, he will not be suspended.
This is a sigh of relief for Browns fans, who have already lost running back Nick Chubb for the rest of the season. Watson hasn't played well so far, but in their star running back's absence, they can only rely on the Clemson product to pull them through.
They will face the Tennessee Titans in Week 3, and if the 28-year-old quarterback doesn't perform well, the Browns could be in a lot of trouble.
Deshaun Watson Fantasy Outlook
So far in two games this season, Watson has thrown for 389 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions with a poor passer rating of 69.1. He is averaging 5.6 yards per attempt and has a career-low completion percentage of 55.1%.
In Nick Chubb's absence, he will be forced to throw the ball much more, which could have both positive and negative consequences. Watson thrived in a pass-first offense at Houston, and he may be able to do so again in Cleveland.
However, given how he has played so far, the Browns quarterback is likely to commit more turnovers if the running game isn't utilized well. With how things currently stand, he is a risky option in fantasy football, and much more clarity around him will be observed after Week 3.
After two games this season, Watson is ranked #15 among quarterbacks in PPR leagues. He has accounted for a total of 34.3 points, which has left many managers unhappy.
