1 year agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (wrist) is traveling with the team on their current road trip and will starting swinging a bat soon. The 11-time All-Star didn't have any setbacks while taking dry swings earlier this month, so he's now ready to take the next step with an eye on returning to close out the 2023 campaign in yet another season that will end without a playoff appearance for the superstar outfielder. Trout fractured his left hamate bone in early July and returned from the injured list on Aug. 22, but he played in just one game before experiencing soreness in his hand/wrist and going back on the IL. Even if the 32-year-old is able to return in the final weeks of the season, there won't be much time for him to make an impact in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
