Before the start of the season, many projected that New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson would solidify himself as a top-10 receiver in the league. It was largely due to the fact that Aaron Rodgers will be his quarterback, and the four-time NFL MVP developed a great relationship with Wilson in the preseason.
Unfortunately for Wilson and the Jets, the season started in the worst possible manner. Rodgers suffered a potential season-ending Achilles injury on the first drive of the game.
It resulted in Zach Wilson once again becoming the Jets QB1, and that has many people concerned about Garrett Wilson's performances for the rest of the season. In this article, I'll break down whether or not the Jets receiver wants to start on your favorite football team this week or not, since he will be up against the Dallas Cowboys.

Garrett Wilson Fantasy Football Outlook
Despite Rodgers getting hurt on the first drive of the game, Garrett Wilson had a productive game. He had five receptions for 34 yards and scored a stunning touchdown to give the Jets the lead in the fourth quarter.
Even with Zach Wilson as his quarterback, the 23-year-old wide receiver continued to make plays. Going forward, the Jets will heavily rely on their running game, but we should expect the Ohio State product to regularly have good games.
Garrett Wilson Wide Receiver Rankings Analysis
Garrett Wilson is ranked #41 heading into Week 2 by the RotoBaller staff. He had an average ADP of 17.3, which resulted in him being a valuable draft pick this year. However, due to the injury to Rodgers, his stock has fallen.
Playing alongside Zach Wilson could hold him back, and it has now become hard for Wilson to cement his place among the top 10 wide receivers in the NFL.
Should I Start Garrett Wilson In Week 2 Fantasy Football?
Although Wilson and the Jets will be up against the Cowboys' elite defense in Week 2, you should certainly start the Jets receiver on your fantasy football team. He is too good of a player to leave off your team, and some believe that Zach Wilson will eventually play better than he did last season.
The former second-overall pick learned a lot of things from Rodgers, and they might come in handy for him this season. The Cowboys' defense, which made life hell for the Giants in Week 1, could dominate the Jets, but if anyone is to make a big play for the Jets in Week 2, it will very likely be Garrett Wilson.
