Hey, RotoBallers! Today, we will review our mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings list for Week 26 - September 18 through September 24 to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. Some notable prospect notes include the Orioles calling up top first base prospect Heston Kjerstad while the Cubs recently promoted outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong. Top prospects such as Colt Keith, Matt Mervis, Coby Mayo, Austin Shenton, Robert Gasser, and Gavin Stone patiently await the call to the big leagues.
Some notable recent performances include Chicago Cubs outfielder Christopher Morel. The 24-year-old has hit three home runs and collected six RBI with a .943 OPS over his last seven contests. Since being promoted to the big leagues on September 7, Texas Rangers outfielder Evan Carter is slashing .357/.444/.382 with a home run, three RBI, and two stolen bases over six games.
Injuries are piling up as the Yankees placed Jasson Dominguez (elbow) on the 10-day injured list, who is set to undergo Tommy John surgery on his right elbow Wednesday. Dominguez is expected to be sidelined until mid-season in 2024. Texas Rangers ace Max Scherzer (shoulder) landed on the 15-day injured list with a low-grade strain of the teres major muscle in his right shoulder. Scherzer will miss the rest of the 2023 season and the playoffs.
