1 year agoTwo-time Stanley Cup champion Andrew Ladd has announced his retirement from the NHL. The 37-year-old already missed the last campaign with a knee issue after failing his physical, and he's now made his retirement official. Ladd entered the league with the Carolina Hurricanes and won the Stanley Cup straight away in his first season in 2006. He added another cup win to his resume with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010. The left winger also played for the Winnipeg Jets, New York Islanders, and Arizona Coyotes, captaining the Jets for nearly six years.
