Najee Harris Quiet In Season Opener
1 year agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris handled six carries for 31 yards and added two yards on two receptions in the team's 30-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Outside of an impressive 24-yard run towards the end of the first half, Harris was relatively quiet. This was most likely due to the fact that Pittsburgh found itself trailing 20-0 quickly and subsequently attempted 46 passes. Both Jaylen Warren and Anthony McFarland Jr. mixed in for a few touches, but RB1 duties still clearly belong to Harris. Even if the Steelers are unable to take a noticeable step up on offense this season, brighter days should be ahead for the third-year back. Harris will look to bounce back as a fantasy RB2 next week against the Cleveland Browns.
