Mike Evans Has WR3 Value For Opener
1 year agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans appears to be healthy heading into the Week 1 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. The 30-year-old was dealing with a groin injury, but appears to have put that behind him. The superstar wideout is heading into the final year of his contract with no extension in sight. That being said, Evans could have a little more incentive to produce this upcoming season. He has reached the 1,000-yard mark in all nine of his seasons in the league. Evans has been one of the most reliable receivers in the league throughout his career. It remains to be seen how he'll produce with Baker Mayfield under center for Tampa Bay. The Vikings defense had a tough time covering wideouts last season. However, there could be a learning curve with a new QB, so Evans should be considered a WR3 for Week 1.
