Cincinnati Bengals - NFL Betting Analysis
Hoping to build on last year's post-season run, the Bengals aim to surpass their trip to the AFC-Championship game, which concluded with a 23-20 loss against the Chiefs. As they entered the playoffs last year, the Bengals held a regular season record of 12-4. Tallying 4-3 against division opponents, Cincinnati secured a 1st place finish within the AFC-North standings.
Last season, Joe Burrow completed 68.3% of his passes for a total of 4475 yards. For the season, he finished 5th among QB's in passing yards and 2nd in touchdowns (35). Burrow's passer rating for the season was 100.8 (11th). Cincinnati is coming off a season in which they were 7th in points per game, at 25.7 points per contest. In terms of their offensive efficiency, they averaged 5.4, which was 15th in the NFL. On the ground, the Bengals ran the ball an average of 24.6 times per contest (24th) and finished 7th in passing yards.
This season, the Bengals are hoping for another strong performance from a defensive unit that finished 5th in points allowed at 19.6 points per game. The Browns' defense finished the season slightly below the league average at 22.4 points per game, which was 18th in the NFL. For the season, opponents averaged 331.2 yards per contest (12th). Cleveland was 9th in takeaways and ended the season with 34 sacks (14th).
