DJ Chark Jr. Held Out Of Wednesday's Practice
1 year agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. (hamstring) wasn't able to practice on Wednesday. Chark has been held out of action for the Panthers since Aug. 23 and is in danger of missing the regular season opener in Week 1 this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. The 26-year-old is expected to be rookie first-round quarterback Bryce Young's primary deep threat in his first year in Carolina, but he's hard to rely on because of injury concerns and the fact that Young is expected to spread the ball around in his first NFL season. If Chark is unable to suit up this weekend, it will likely be Adam Thielen, rookie Jonathan Mingo and Terrace Marshall Jr. as Young's top-three aerial targets.
