Travis Kelce Officially Questionable For Thursday Night
1 year agoKansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (knee) did not practice on Wednesday and is officially listed as questionable to play in the 2023 regular season opener on Thursday night against the Detroit Lions. Kelce hyperextended his knee in practice on Tuesday, and the Chiefs have ruled out a long-term injury, but it doesn't mean the 33-year-old All-Pro will suit up to kick off the season. Fantasy managers will have to check back to see if Kelce is active on Thursday night, and this could be a game-time decision for the Chiefs. If he's limited or out altogether, Noah Gray would be KC's top pass-catching tight end. In the receiving corps, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore and Justin Watson could be the best bets for big games against Detroit with the Chiefs likely easing Kadarius Toney (knee) in.
