Luis Robert Jr. Returns Against Royals
1 year agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (quadriceps) is back in center field and is batting in the three-hole for the White Sox on Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals and right-hander Jordan Lyles. Robert missed the last four games due to cramping in his right quadriceps muscle, but he's back in there now and should be returned to all starting fantasy lineups ASAP, even though he's hitting .167 in 12 career at-bats against Lyles with a solo home run. The 26-year-old Cuban slugger has managed to stay mostly healthy in 2023 and has produced a breakout season for fantasy managers, slashing .271/.324/.559 with an .882 OPS, 35 home runs, 71 RBI, 17 stolen bases and 81 runs scored in 487 at-bats.
