1 year agoThe Oakland Athletics reinstated rookie right-hander Mason Miller (elbow) from the 60-day injured list on Wednesday. In other moves, the team selected the contract of left-hander Easton Lucas and recalled right-hander Devin Sweet from Triple-A Las Vegas, optioned left-hander Sam Long and right-hander Zach Neal to Las Vegas and designated right-hander Spencer Patton for assignment. Miller, 25, is back after missing four months with a UCL sprain in his right elbow, but unfortunately for fantasy managers, it appears the young pitcher will return in a relief role for the A's for now. Miller still has plenty of strikeout upside for fantasy managers, but his fantasy value will obviously be limited upon his return as long as he stays in a relief role.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
