Julio Teheran To Make Another Rehab Start Tuesday
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers right-hander Julio Teheran (hip) threw a bullpen session on Sept. 2 in preparation for another minor-league rehab start for Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday. Teheran went on the injured list with a right-hip impingement that had been bothering him since July 18. He began his rehab assignment with High-A Wisconsin on Aug. 25 and threw 30 of his 43 pitches for strikes. He then allowed four runs on seven hits over 2 1/3 innings with Nashville on Aug. 31. The 32-year-old's start on Tuesday could be his final rehab appearance before being activated from the injured list, although Teheran may not rejoin Milwaukee's starting rotation. In 11 starts for the Brewers this year, Teheran has gone 2-5 with a 4.74 ERA (5.06 FIP), 1.13 WHIP, 11 walks and 44 K's in 62 2/3 innings.
