Jalen Carter Ready To Make Big Impact Right Away
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie defensive tackle Jalen Carter is a candidate to win Defensive Rookie of the Year, in the opinion of ESPN's Dan Graziano. Carter was seen as maybe the most talented prospect in this year's draft, but he fell to ninth overall due to an off-the-field incident. He's been the talk of the Eagles' training camp, and coaches and teammates think he's ready to make an impact that reflects the ability of a No. 1 overall pick. The 22-year-old should be disruptive on the interior of the defensive line immediately, and some around the team have compared him to the Rams' Aaron Donald. It should help that Carter is surrounding by many former college teammates in Philly. Carter is a major building block of the future for the Eagles' defensive line. However, it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be valuable right away in IDP fantasy leagues.
