Titans Scoop Up Trevis Gipson
1 year agoThe Tennessee Titans signed free-agent defensive end Trevis Gipson to an undisclosed deal on Thursday, according to a source. Gipson makes his way to Tennessee after the Chicago Bears waived him on roster cutdown day on Tuesday. The 26-year-old had requested a trade over the weekend with his role set to diminish in 2023. The former fifth-round pick of the Bears in 2020 out of Tulsa has 75 tackles (41 solo), 10 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 21 QB hits, five passes defensed, five forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in his three NFL campaigns. He will give the Titans some extra pass-rushing depth off the edge entering the regular season.
