Anthony Edwards Leads Team USA With 22 Points Versus Jordan
1 year agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards put up a team-high 22 points in 19 minutes as Team USA demolished Jordan 110-62 at the FIBA World Cup Wednesday. After struggling for efficiency in the previous matchup against Greece, Edwards shot 8-for-16 from the field and hit three of his five attempts from deep. He was also one of the best rebounders in the game with eight boards, and Edwards wrapped up the easy day at the office with four assists. The Timberwolves star was named "the guy" by Team USA head coach Steve Kerr before the tournament started and Edwards has indeed led the charge for the Americans by scoring a team-high 16.3 points through three games.
