Haason Reddick On Track To Play In Week 1
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles linebacker Haason Reddick (thumb) said that he tore a ligament in his right thumb but that he's progressing well and doesn't think it will affect his performance. Reddick is on target to play in the season opener in Week 1 against the New England Patriots on Sept. 10. The 28-year-old already had surgery on his thumb, but he should be active to kick things off in a couple of weeks. Fantasy managers in IDP leagues shouldn't expect Reddick to reproduce the career-high 16 sacks that he had in 17 regular season starts last year, but you can't ignore the fact that he's now tallied 115 solo tackles, 39.5 sacks, 38 tackles for loss, 60 QB hits and 13 forced fumbles in 49 games (44 starts) over the last three seasons.
