Jets Waive Zonovan Knight Monday
1 year agoThe New York Jets waived running back Zonovan Knight on Monday, according to a source. Knight received some interest on the trade market, which could indicate that a team will claim him on Wednesday. The 22-year-old just couldn't stick around after the Jets added Dalvin Cook in free agency this offseason and rookie Israel Abanikanda in the draft. Knight landed with the Jets in 2022 after going undrafted, and he ended up playing in seven games (four starts), rushing for 300 yards and one touchdown on 85 attempts. He also chipped in 13 receptions for 100 yards. He shouldn't have any problem landing with another team for the 2023 regular season, but Knight is well off the fantasy radar for now.
