Terry McLaurin Won't Be Slowed By Sam Howell
1 year agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin and quarterback Sam Howell have built some solid chemistry this summer. The Athletic's Ben Standig doesn't think that fantasy managers should be too worried that McLaurin won't be able to extend his streak of 1,000-yard receiving seasons to four just because Howell has only completed 11 NFL passes. McLaurin has made plenty of plays despite a rotating crew of QBs. And what Howell lacks in experience, he makes up for with a strong arm, mobility and poise. Washington's offensive line is a concern, but Standig believes Howell will do enough to keep McLaurin in the WR1 range in fantasy in 2023. McLaurin sprained his toe in the preseason finale earlier this week, but the team is optimistic he'll be ready to roll in Week 1.
