Jeff Wilson Jr. The Most Valuable Dolphins RB?
1 year agoBarring an unexpected acquisition of Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor by next Tuesday, running backs Jeff Wilson Jr., Raheem Mostert and rookie De'Von Achane will make up the Miami Dolphins' backfield to open the 2023 season. The Athletic's Jim Ayello writes it's impossible to know which of the threesome will emerge as the most valuable this year, but his guess would be Wilson. The 27-year-old averaged 4.7 yards per carry after his trade to Miami in 2022. Wilson and Mostert are both being drafted outside the top 150, according to Sleeper ADP. Because of the uncertainty in this committee backfield, fantasy managers are probably avoiding the situation if they can. All three backs should be considered RB4/flex options if everyone remains healthy.
