1 year agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard confirmed he asked to be traded. During a conversation with NBA insider Marc J. Spears, the multi-time All-Star expressed his love for the city of Portland while adding that his desire to win a title "is as high as it's probably going to be." Lillard has been a Trail Blazer since 2012-13, his first season in the league, and has averaged 25.2 points, 6.7 assists, and 4.2 rebounds in 769 career appearances. While the 33-year-old didn't get into specifics about his desired landing spot, especially since he doesn't want to be fined, Miami is the only team that appears to be on his wish list. However, with Portland not interested in anything the Heat have to offer, it seems there's a shot that Lillard will remain in Portland for the 2023-24 campaign.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
