Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Jeudy had an outstanding college career, totaling 159 receptions for 2,742 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns in three years at Alabama.
The former Crimson Tide star had a solid rookie season. Jeudy had 52 receptions on 113 targets for 856 receiving yards and three touchdowns that year. The young wide receiver struggled with injuries in 2021, missing seven contests. He ended the season with 38 receptions on 56 targets for 467 receiving yards and zero touchdowns.
When the Broncos traded for Russell Wilson during the 2022 offseason, fantasy players had high hopes for the offense. While Wilson struggled, Jeudy had the best year of his career, totaling 67 receptions for 972 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He led the team in all three categories.

Is Jerry Jeudy Injured Or Healthy?
The former Alabama star is a prime breakout candidate this season. Unfortunately, Jeudy suffered a hamstring injury during today’s joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams. The fourth-year wide receiver was carted off the field.
Head coach Sean Payton said the former Alabama star will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the hamstring injury. Depending on how severe the injury is, Jeudy could miss the first several weeks this season.
Should I Draft Jerry Jeudy At His ADP?
According to the RotoBaller ADP, Jeudy is a late fourth or early fifth-round pick in 12-team leagues and the 20th wide receiver off the board. The hamstring injury couldn’t happen at a worse time. The former Alabama star has built a strong connection with Wilson during the preseason.
Fantasy players with drafts tonight should avoid drafting the veteran wide receiver anywhere near his current ADP. Until the Broncos provide an update on the former Alabama star, Jeudy isn’t worth drafting at his fourth or fifth-round cost.
Hopefully, the injury is minor. While a minor hamstring injury likely keeps the veteran wide receiver out of the Week 1 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, he could return early in the year. However, that seems unlikely, given Jeudy’s injury history.
Courtland Sutton and Marvin Mims are the next two wide receivers on the depth chart. Both players have an ADP outside the top eight rounds. However, both could become steals if Jeudy misses significant time with the injury.
