Jack Flaherty Dealing With "General Soreness"
1 year agoUpdating a previous report, Baltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said that right-hander Jack Flaherty is dealing with "general soreness" that occurs between starts, which is why he didn't make his scheduled start on Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Hyde said the team is taking a precaution, but it remains to be seen if Flaherty will be able to make his next start. If the 27-year-old is able to make his next start, fantasy managers should be hesitant to rely on him. In his three starts with Baltimore since coming over at the trade deadline from the St. Louis Cardinals, he's allowed 11 earned runs on 14 hits (two homers) while walking and fanning 19 in 14 innings against the Jays, Astros and Padres.
