Kyle Philips Dealing With MCL Injury
1 year agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips (knee) suffered an MCL injury in Saturday's preseason win over the Minnesota Vikings, and he has a timetable for a return in the range of six weeks. Fellow wideout Treylon Burks (knee) suffered an LCL sprain just four days earlier and is expected to miss four to six weeks. Tennessee will now be without two of their top three receivers for Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints. Chris Moore and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine will now fill in next to DeAndre Hopkins early in the season. Philips, a former fifth-rounder, played a big role in the team's season opener in 2022 but suffered a shoulder injury that slowed him down the rest of the way.
