Jonathan Taylor To Rejoin Team On Sunday
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) will be back with the team at training camp on Sunday, and he will practice when he's medically cleared to do so. Taylor had offseason surgery on his ankle and hasn't practiced with the team at all this offseason. He remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list at camp and also demanded a trade earlier this summer because he's unhappy with his contract. It's basically been about the worst offseason Taylor could have had heading into his fourth NFL season. At this point, it's fair to wonder if Taylor will be ready by Week 1 of the regular season, which is making him tough to trust as an RB1 selection early in fantasy drafts. Zack Moss (arm) is also hurt, so the Colts backfield could be messy early in 2023 if neither Taylor nor Moss are ready.
