Chris Evans To Be Primary Third-Down Back?
1 year agoCincinnati Bengals running back Chris Evans has just 95 touches for 266 yards in two seasons since being selected in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. However, it could be his time to contribute after the departure of Samaje Perine. Paul Dehner Jr. of the Athletic believes he will be the "starting passing-down back." Fellow running back Trayveon Williams (ankle) and rookie Chase Brown have been competing with Evans for the RB job behind Mixon, but it looks like Evans has the edge. If so, he will be one of the most valuable handcuff running backs in fantasy football as a part of a high-powered offense.
