Shohei Ohtani Scheduled To Pitch Wednesday Against Reds
1 year agoLos Angeles Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani is still scheduled to make his next start on Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds. Ohtani, who has had some issues with cramping recently, skipped his last start on the mound due to fatigue. After getting some much-needed rest, the 29-year-old right-hander will rejoin the starting rotation to take on Cincinnati. The Japanese All-Star had a rough patch on the mound in early July due to blister issues on his pitching hand, but he hasn't allowed an earned run while walking seven and striking out 17 in 19 innings over his last three starts against the Tigers, Mariners and Giants. Despite a tricky matchup against Cincinnati, fantasy managers will want to get Ohtani back in their starting lineups next week as a pitcher.
