Kylen Granson Makes The Start In Preseason Opener
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson got the start in the team's preseason opener on Saturday against the Buffalo Bills. Granson caught one of his two targets on the day for a 20-yard gain. The Colts were short on tight end depth in the preseason opener with Mo Alie-Cox, Jelanie Woods and Will Mallory all sitting out due to injuries. If all the other tight ends on the roster are healthy, though, Granson isn't a lock to have a significant role in the team's offense in 2023. The 25-year-old former fourth-rounder in 2021 has caught 42 of his 55 targets for 408 yards in his first two NFL seasons, but he has yet to find the end zone. Granson is well off the fantasy radar in single-year fantasy football leagues.
