Davante Adams' Injury Believed To Be Minor
1 year agoUpdating a previous report, the injury that Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams (shin) suffered in joint training camp practice with the San Francisco 49ers on Friday is minor, according to a source. Adams walked gingerly off the field after trainers put a sleeve on his right-shin area. Head coach Josh McDaniels also said he doesn't think Adams suffered anything "cray serious." It's great news for the star receiver, but don't expect him to play in the team's preseason opener this Sunday against the Niners. The 30-year-old has made the Pro Bowl each of the last six seasons, and he had 100 catches for 1,516 yards and a league-leading 14 TDs in 17 starts in his first year in Vegas in 2022. Many fantasy managers might be a bit skeptical with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo now throwing him passes, but Adams should still be considered a top-10 fantasy receiver.
