Logan Thomas Unavailable For Preseason Opener
1 year agoWashington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas (calf) is unavailable to play in the team's preseason opener on Friday night against the Cleveland Browns. It doesn't come as a surprise, as Thomas hasn't practiced in training camp in the last week due to a calf injury. It's possible the 32-year-old won't be available for the second preseason game, either. Thomas has struggled to stay on the field consistently in his career and has just 129 receptions on 196 targets for 1,189 yards and 10 touchdowns in his three seasons in D.C. He'll have a chance for a regular pass-catching role again in 2023, but Cole Turner and John Bates will also have their say. Given Thomas' injury risk, fantasy managers should be looking elsewhere.
