Kris Dunn Backed To Be Starter Next Season
1 year agoUtah Jazz point guard Kris Dunn had an impressive stint with the team last season and could get himself a bigger role for 2023-24. The 29-year-old featured in 22 games for the Jazz near the end of the campaign, putting up 13.5 points with 4.5 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.1 steals. He is seen as a starter by Jazz beat reporter Sarah Todd. "I believe that on opening day of the 2023-24 season that Dunn will be the Jazz's best point guard," Todd wrote. "If it were me coaching the team, independent of a front office and the league at large, I would start Dunn." Dunn has been a solid performer as a starter throughout his career, recording 11.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.7 assists.
