Michael Pittman Jr. Not Concerned About Contract
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. isn't worried about a contract extension. He also intends to be on the field, even if he doesn't get a new contract. "Do I expect it? I don't really expect nothing really," Pittman stated. "If it happens, it happens. And if it doesn't happen, then yeah, I would play it out without an extension." The 25-year-old has appeared in 46 games for the Colts since being drafted in 2020. He has 227 receptions for 2,510 yards and 11 touchdowns during his career, doing so without a stable signal-caller. Pittman has already proven to be a 1,000-yard wideout, so his continued success will hinge on how fast he develops a rapport with quarterbacks Anthony Richardson and Gardner Minshew.
