Jeff Okudah Dealing With Leg Injury
1 year agoUpdating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons cornerback Jeff Okudah (leg) went down with a lower right-leg injury during training camp practice on Friday and had to be carted off the field, according to reporters. Okudah was defending wide receiver Frank Darby during a one-on-one drill when the injury occurred. The Detroit Lions took Okudah with the third overall pick in 2020, but injuries limited him to 10 games in his first two NFL seasons. He managed 73 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in 15 regular season games in 2022, though, before being traded this April to Atlanta. We still don't know the severity of Okudah's leg injury, so make sure to check back for more updates on Friday.
