Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco played through a broken hand in the Super Bowl after getting hurt in the AFC Championship Game. He had surgery to repair it in the offseason and also dealt with a torn labrum in his shoulder.
Due to it, he has been limited in training camp so far, giving rise to speculation about whether he will be fit enough to play in Week 1 against the Detroit Lions. He was instrumental in the Chiefs' Super Bowl run last season, and many fantasy managers have their eyes set on him for the draft.
In this article, we will discuss when Pacheco is expected to get fully healthy and what we can expect from him in fantasy football for the upcoming NFL season.

When Will Isiah Pachego Get Fully Healthy?
As per NFL insider James Palmer, Isiah Pacheco will be cleared for full-contact practice on August 20. It will enable him to feature to some extent in the preseason games and be fully healthy to go in Week 1.
Pacheco, who was a seventh-round pick from last year's draft, broke onto the scene in his rookie season. He emerged as Chiefs RB1 after gaining 830 yards and five touchdowns on 170 carries while not missing a single game.
The former Rutgers running back is expected to take another leap this season, and given how great the team is around him, Pacheco is projected to have a 1,000-yard season easily.
The Chiefs Have A Deep RB Room
The Kansas City Chiefs have a stacked offense. Apart from having a talented wide receiver group, they also have a very deep running back room. While Isiah Pacheco is considered their RB1, Jerick McKinnon is one of their most important players.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire is back healthy, and he will hope to put up a great season to earn himself a decent contract. Presently, La'Mical Perine is the Chiefs' RB4, but it won't be a surprise if undrafted rookie Deneric Pierce gets himself a spot ahead of him on the main roster.
The Chiefs are poised to repeat as Super Bowl champions, and Pacheco, along with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, is likely to put up monster numbers in 2023.
