Brandon Woodruff Lined Up To Pitch Sunday
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers right-hander Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) is lined up to return from the injured list to pitch on Sunday in the series finale against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Woodruff looked good on his minor-league rehab assignment with High-A Wisconsin and Triple-A Nashville and he's ready to return to Milwaukee's starting rotation for the stretch run. The 30-year-old shouldn't be out there on any waiver wires now that he's on the cusp of his return. He shouldn't have many limitations as far as pitch count on Sunday, and the matchup is a great one, so fantasy managers should get him back into their starting lineups. Woodruff has been on the shelf with a Grade 2 subscapular strain since the middle of April.
