1 year agoAccording to Will Guillory of The Athletic, the New Orleans Pelicans are looking for an upgrade at the center position, meaning Jonas Valanciunas' days on the team are likely numbered. "With Valanciunas heading into the final year of his deal, the Pels have been sniffing around for other options in recent months," Guillory wrote. "There have been rumors of them exploring potential deals for Jarrett Allen or Isaiah Stewart, but nothing has materialized quite yet." Valanciunas has put up solid numbers during his two-year stay in New Orleans, averaging 15.9 points and 10.8 rebounds, but Guillory notes that the 31-year-old is limited defensively and the issues will only continue to grow as he gets older.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
